Abstract

The time-domain reflectometry (TDR) technique has been used for the study of dielectric relaxation spectra of 1,2 dichloroethane (DE) and n,n-dimethylformamide (DMF) binary mixtures. The frequency range used for the study is 10 MHz to 30 GHz. The study is carried out at 10°C, 15°C, 20°C and 25°C temperature for 11 different concentrations. The dielectric parameters such as static permittivity (?0), dielectric constant at high frequency (??) and relaxation time (?) have been obtained. The Excess parameters, Kirkwood parameters, and thermodynamic parameters are determined.
