European Journal of Energy Research (EJER) publishes high-quality original papers, review articles and short communications in the area of energy research. EJER is a Semi-annual published, open source journal and operates an online submission with the peer review system allowing authors to submit articles online and track their progress via its web interface. The journal makes use of the Open Journal Systems platform for open-access publishing and research networking for scientists, which provides an equal opportunity to seek, share and create knowledge. Articles are peer-reviewed, which evaluate manuscripts on objective editorial criteria.
The journal publishes two types of articles:
- Original research articles (generally between 6,000 and 10,000 words, including references)
- Review essays (8,000 to 12,000 words)
EJER seeks to promote and disseminate knowledge of the various topics and technologies of energy resources. Disciplinarily, submissions are thus welcome from all fields of inquiry since the editors recognize that in many cases high quality research may not fit into any predetermined category. Moreover, the journal will not exclude any energy source, technology, system, topic, or energy service from the scope of its articles.
